Meat and Lead poisoning
Meat if shot by a hunter can be riddled with lead. These small shards of lead can lead to poisoning. Some hunters have been dying due to this. Sixty percent of a stores supply of deer meat contained these shards of lead. Pregnant women and children under the age of six have been told not to eat any meat shot with this ammunition. This discovery sparked the idea of whether or not hunting and eating meat is safe. Lead has been used in weapons since roman times and they also encountered some of the same sorts of problems.

That is weird. What makes people think that they will not get lead poisoning from eating game that has been shot by a lead bullet. I have even asked my father about that exact topic. He said that he would always pick out the lead and then wash the animal before cooking it. The small amount of lead caught in the animal would be very unlikely to poison you.
ReplyDeletewell that is if the hunter is actually using bullets made of lead. I do not think that all bullets are made of lead and why would you want to hunt with something that is poisonous to humans.
